Petunia’s Place is perfect for any beach vacation it is a spacious 1,400 square foot town home right off 30 A near Gulf Place. It’s just a short stroll to the white sand beaches and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico with gulf views from the balcony. There are 2 large bedrooms and two baths upstairs and a large living area, kitchen, half-bath and laundry room on the main level. The upstairs master suite has a king size bed, private bath with shower and separate Jacuzzi bathtub. The second bedroom has 2 full size beds.

There are two very large balconies, one upstairs off the master suite with lovely gulf views and a second balcony downstairs off the living area overlooking one of the two pools. A stairway from the living area takes you down to the ground level where private, covered parking is provided for two vehicles.

There are numerous outstanding restaurants to choose from, outlet shopping with over 200 stores, and a 22 mile bike/walking trail also just a walk waya form Gulf Place. There are two pools (one heated for Spring)on property.

This spacious condo from the 14th floor is located on the beach side of Sandestin and can be used as a studio or as a  1 bedroom, or combined as a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath unit. Each unit is also equipped with sleeper sofas and/or bunk beds in order to accomodate a large family.

In addition to the four championship golf courses, there are hiking/biking trails throughout, a full-service marina, many shops and restaurants including the new Baytowne Wharf shopping area overlooking the bay, the Hilton Hotel, and much more – all located on the 2500 acre tract of the resort! There is a 6 passenger golf cart that can be rented with this unit.  You can travel to Baytowne Wharf area which has many regularly scheduled events, children’s activities, shopping and restaurants. Or you may want to travel over to the new development, The Grand Mall, which includes many restaurants, more shopping and Publix’s grocery store.  We would be remised to not include the beautiful beaches of Sandestin, you may want to travel for a day in the sun enjoying the powder soft sand and emerald green beaches or go for a romantic sunset, which is a gofcart ride away!

Our home has two master bedrooms with KING beds and private baths.  The upstairs master has a large deck with views of Jolee Island, the marshland and the marina; a great place for morning coffee and afternoon beverage or just bird watching.  The third bedroom has a QUEEN bed.  All bedrooms have TV’s and DVD or VCR players.  There is ample closet space throughout.

We have a fully equipped kitchen that adjoins the living room and a separate dining room.  The living room has a large screen HD TV with digital service and modem or wireless for your convenience.  The dining room and first floor master open onto a large screened in porch, our favorite place for diner complete with sunset.

As we neared the end of our working days we decided to visit many locations before deciding where to spend much of our hard earned retirement.  The first, last and only place we visited was Sandestin.  Now it is our home away from home.  We are happy to share this special place with you.

Upstairs is a loft with sleeping area, as well as sitting area.  Off of the loft is the master bedroom and bath. 

Back downstairs you will find a private patio off the living room that sits on a natural lake, which can be viewed from almost every room in the villa.  The patio is the perfect spot for coffee, drinks or al fresco dining.  Free WI-FI is available in this unit as well.   And if you have people who love to fish in your group, the lake has a catch and release program…the fish are huge!

When you’re not relaxing in the villa, you are close to everything.  There are plenty of shopping and dining spots right at your finger tips, as are nature trails, tennis, world class golf, spa, water activities and entertainment for the kids. Our home has three bedrooms and three baths.  It is well-equipped and has everything you need to relax and enjoy your time at the resort.  From the openness of the great room area to the convenient layout of the kitchen and bathrooms, to the comfort of each bedroom you are sure to enjoy this home as you are engulfed by all our home has to offer.

The master bedroom has a king bed with attached master bath including jetted tub, oversized walk-in shower, and double sinks.   The first guest bedroom has a queen bed with an attached full bath.  The third bedroom offers two sets of bunk beds – perfect for a family or a golf get-a-way with sleeping for four.  The queen sleeper sofa in the living room provides additional sleeping quarters if needed.
